ATXsg 2024 Openers

This video project was done together with VDOFX for Rebel Owl on a freelance basis.

This project had a short turn around needing three 40-60 second videos with an origami paper style.

This project had a myriad of challenges. One such challenge was modelling the origami models, as balancing the complexity and readability was difficult during this tight time frame. Another was having to animate a large amount of assets in this origami fashion.

To animate one of these assets, many bend points were used to emulate the folding of origami and at some points, I would use careful framing to maintain the seamless transition between assets.

Responsible for Asset Creation, Animation, Lighting & Rendering and Compositing.
Provided on-site support during rehearsals.
